I'm off work today!!!
Yeay!!!
But wait.... I have a to do list that is 3 miles long, and I had to go into work to help a client that has a hard time communicating in English, and I got stuck at work returning calls and writing up files. It seems that work just never ends.
So now I need to try to leave work... go to the gym.... go to costco.... finish stuff at home.... just an overwhelming amount of stuff.
Tonight Joey starts his tutoring for his Bar Mitzvah. It is exciting and fills me with anxiety at the same time. So much to plan... but we are going to be atypical and not have a huge, big, fancy party. We are going to do something more informal, more kid-oriented.. with a d.j. This may not fly well with my family. Frankly, my mother and I had such conflict over our wedding and we had to do things we didn't wish to because, after all, in so many ways, a wedding is a celebration of the parents also... I said to my mom when she started offering "suggestions" that this was our celebration - my husband's and mine - and we will send her an invitation.
